I was born and reared in Tyler, Texas. I worked approximately twenty years in the convenience store business in Texas and Colorado before returning to school at forty-one years of age. In August 1992, after having been awarded an applied science degree as a legal assistant in 1989, I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice. Utilizing my degree, I worked as an adult supervision (probation) officer in Tyler, Smith County, Texas for the next fourteen plus years. On December 31, 2006, I retired from probation.

I sold my Texas home six months later and fulfilled my after retirement plan of returning to the mountains of Colorado which remained a love of mine after leaving the state in 1986. Because I love being outdoors, I worked on a temporary basis for the Colorado Division of Wildlife as a boat inspector at Antero Reservoir during the summer of 2010. Then, needing to keep busy and intellectually challenged, I began studying for a Colorado Real Estate broker’s license. On May 3, 2012, I passed the real estate exam and my license was issued May 14, 2012.

Now, as an owner/broker, I work with sellers in the sale of their property and with buyers helping them make their dreams come true by assisting them in their property search and eventual purchase of a piece of Colorado’s splendor.
